Overview


9Line will perform system updates and patches to the SBC operating system on November 2, 2024 between 0700-0900 Central time.

Service Impact


Due to load balancing and high availability, we do not anticipate any service disruption to critical services during this maintenance. The SC cluster will be upgraded first, followed by the W2 cluster. During the upgrade, one regional cluster will be offline and calls will be serviced by the other regional cluster.

Duration of Impact


While we expect no impact to services, always ensure you maintain paths to both the primary and secondary clusters in your SBC configuration to ensure automatic failover between 9Line call server clusters.

Resolved - Services have remained stable with the provider’s geolocation validation API and this incident is being closed.

Update - We are continuing to monitor for any further issues.

Monitoring - Our upstream provider is no longer experiencing timeouts with geolocation validation and creation requests and services are functioning as expected. We will continue to monitor this situation.

Investigating - We are investigating an intermittent issue with our upstream geolocation validation and creation provider and will continue to provide updates as we have more information.

Symptoms include customers experiencing a "Provisioning failed" message in the portal when creating a new location. Webex/HELD users may also experience issues with creating new locations.

This issue does not impact geolocation assignment for existing locations nor geolocation stamping of existing locations for emergency calls.
